some day my prince will come ♡

I was nervous about writing this on my blog but why not? It is a part of my life right now(:
Remember when you were a kid and your biggest worry was eating your veggies or not getting to play outside—being an adult is totally overrated, I mean seriously don’t be fooled by all the hot shoes, no curfew and eating out everyday.
Adulthood is responsibility, and as a woman of my age there are so many things I “should,” be doing. But since I am single, among those things is D-A-T-I-N-G.

Dating shouldn’t be as a stressful and scary as many paint it to be. But when you factor in all the endless list of “do’s” and “don’ts,” it can be, (well at least for me it is).But maybe I get more stressed then the average gal because when I finally didn’t worry about eating my veggies—I dreamed about that fairy tale ending.

Along the way to today I have had a few accomplishments that I am proud of! However, in between these accomplishments there was the occasional whisper...
But don’t worry folks, I still do— that hasn’t changed. What has changed is the fact that I am “putting myself out there,” meaning I am putting my heart on the line.I am taking risks, but also more importantly I am potentially holding another human's hearts in my hand—talk about responsibilities?!?

So far, it has been a fun start. As for the “rules (endless list of ‘do’s' and ‘don’ts’)," I decided maybe for dating, the “rules” are something you have to define yourself. So I am literally trying it all, which is why I want to start sharing/ recording some of my experiences here (without names of course).

As Snow White once said “some day my prince will come…and away to his castle we'll go to be happy forever I know."

P.S. I really do hope you follow along--I would love to hear all your tips. (:

Green Outdoors ♡

Hello pretty friends,

Happy long weekend! I have to say one of the things I like most of moving out to Utah, has to be the outdoors. Utah really has great places to just experience nature in a new way (well at least compared to Florida). I do miss beaches but love seeing the mountains and exploring! The spot pictured was just so stunning, but it felt even more out of this word because my friend and I wanted to experience this spot while the lake was not frozen over. Let me tell you, we went twice and both times there was white fluffy snow all over and we did go during the "spring." But like they say "third time the charm!" It was beautiful, big lake with a nice board walk! Hope your taking advantage of the weather while it last!

With love from,
Kris

Rewind Exchange: Vintage Fashion in Provo ♡

Vintage Dress: Rewind Exchange

Hello pretty friends,

Ever since I could remember I have always loved trends that date back a couple years before I was even born. Big buttons, pearls, oversized earrings and fun shape dresses were a few of the details that always caught my eye. A few of these trends were first spotted on the ever so elegant first lady, Jacqueline Kennedy--including bright lips!

Today we are lucky we can find these fun trends reflected in our everyday retail stores.

But why not wear the originals if everything that's made now mimics the old stuff, as Jacqueline Whitmore, general manager of the Rewind Exchange stated.
I did exactly that, I found an original! While visiting Provo, I was so excited to stop by Rewind Exchange, a fairly new retail shop offering curated vintage clothing.
Loved their wide selection of unique pieces at low price points. Can't get better than cute and  affordable, right??
I fell in love with the cutest floral dress--great shape, pattern, had sleeves and is so fresh!
Oh, and can we talk about the store itself? Super cute, worth stopping by if you are in Provo, Utah.
Not sure how to style these fun vintage pieces, google fashion icons like Jacqueline Kennedy or any of your favorites (so I like google everything but it's great, you can find images that date way back(: )!
Happy vintage shopping!

With love from,
Kris
